Professional assignment · 2026

The Centre Automobile du Nord Vaudois had never had a clear digital visual identity, and its website was outdated. I rebuilt the website, then carried the same identity across every medium.

CANV SA, Communication overhaul

In brief

Challenge

Rebuild the company’s website, then bring visual consistency to all of its media.

What I did

I ran the project from strategy to rollout: WordPress website, typefaces and logo, photography, Instagram and print.

Result

A new website live at canv.net. At the end of the assignment, I became head of communication at CANV SA.

Context

Client

The Centre Automobile du Nord Vaudois (CANV SA) is a car centre founded in 1998 near Yverdon. It sells new and used vehicles, handles servicing and mechanics, and runs a bodywork shop, across two sites: Montagny-près-Yverdon and Les Tuileries de Grandson.

Starting point

My first major professional assignment: the company entrusted me with all of its visual and digital communication.

One digital identity, from the website to every medium.

Decisions

01

A website built around the company’s three trades

I designed the website on WordPress and Elementor, from structure to copywriting. The home page leads to the vehicles first, then to the three trades: sales, mechanics and bodywork.

02

The stock shown straight from AutoScout24

A script from AutoScout24, where the company already lists its vehicles, displays the catalogue in the Vehicles pages: the website’s stock updates itself, with no double entry.

03

A shared identity: Anton, Poppins and a retouched logo

Anton, a condensed typeface, for punchy headings; Poppins for readable text. The logo is subtly retouched to match the whole, from the website to the posters.

04

Photos taken on site, at both locations

Photo sessions in Montagny-près-Yverdon and Les Tuileries de Grandson built the company’s own image bank, used on the website, on Instagram and wherever needed.

05

On Instagram, story highlights and a new-arrival template

A refreshed profile and four story highlights (Offers, Services, Contact, Opening hours) keep the essentials at hand. Each new vehicle gets its own story, always on the same template.

06

From A4 in the shop window to a large billboard

A large billboard gives the essentials at sponsored events. I also redesigned the price panels, as well as information posters for the shop window.

Result

The result shows a real ability to understand the company, to respect its history while bringing it a new, contemporary vision.

What I learned

This assignment taught me to work for a real client: understand a company’s needs, then build an answer that meets them. Communicating on its behalf, on its website as in its visuals, also puts its reputation at stake: every text and every image has to be right.
